yeah yeah......n00b said that over on DC!

But as I said to him "there's only so many ways of building a false floor....this way!!"

Although mine will be different in that the centre panel won't be hinged, just sits in place.

But bloody hell those side panels are awkward to get the right shape ain't they!!

Work so far today:

Remove HT lead cover for repainting:

Remove coolant hoses and air intake:

Fit red OBX hoses and HT leads:

Image

Then remove exhaust manifold for polishing:

I'm starting to regret trying to polish the manifold.

Spent 15 minutes on it yesterday and only got a couple of square inches done, and even still its not shiny shiny like I want it!

Only problem is I've done it on the top so I've got to carry on now.....if I'd started on the underside, no one would've seen if I'd stopped!
